Enhancing DevvsPhotoDump into a more serious project.
Devan Lee
I started the DevvsPhotoDump project over a year ago, as a sophomore in University originally as a side project to learn how to code, and find a dedicated way to archive my college memories with my friends, family, and loved ones.
DevvsPhotoDump was birthed from 2 things:
- My passion for the art of photography, and my need to archive my photos.
and
- My passion for developing projects dedicated to manifesting my creative vision.
While DevvsPhotoDump started initially as a hobby and passion project, I plan on now rebranding the project into a more sophisticated business and for photojournalism.
While fun, everyday blogs and personal interests will still have a place in the DevvsPhotoDump project, its main focus is shifting toward a more business-oriented and professional direction. I want DevvsPhotoDump to represent an era of my life that reflects who I am both personally and professionally. I want a space where I can showcase my work without it blending in with my casual photography. Moving forward, I plan to rebrand the DevvsPhotoDump project so it better aligns with those ideals.
This post marks the beginning of a new chapter for this project. Moving forward, I plan to take my photography to a more serious and intentional level, beyond the casual approach I’ve had so far. As I push myself to grow, I hope to maintain the joy that drew me to photography in the first place—and I’m confident that my passion for this art will stay strong.
Thank you for following the evolution of DevvsPhotoDump.
